We have the ability to provide a filament wound pipe with its enhanced strength and lighter wall, or a contact molded pipe with it’s higher resin content and heavier wall.

Our shop manufactures a full complement of pipe fittings such as smooth sweep elbows up to 36″ diameter, mitered elbows of any size, concentric and eccentric reducers, custom tees, custom laterals, drinking water compatible, stub flanges, custom flanges, national pipe thread couplings/nipples, anchors, and integrated FRP pipe supports. All pipe and fittings are manufactured and fabricated to accepted national specifications.

Back in 1992, Pinellas County Florida had a need for custom FRP pipe to be constructed for the 49th Street Bridge (or the Bayside Bridge), crossing from Clearwater to St Petersburg. The purpose was to aid in a storm water collection system to keep pollutants out of Tampa Bay. 

FRP pipe was chosen because of its high strength, light weight and corrosion resistant qualities. As well as reduced installation cost measures, the available pressure classes from 50 psi to 200 psi for above ground and buried applications also were great reasons to choose IPS.
