Industrial Plastic Systems (IPS) has a long history of supporting its FRP manufacturing capabilities with a full range of fiberglass field maintenance and FRP field services.

Utilizing professional and technical knowledge from decades in the industry, our composite maintenance technicians have completed repair or installation tasks while following company’s procedures and strict safety requirements. Whether it was working around scheduled or unscheduled shutdowns, routine maintenance, modifications, field fabrications, installations or emergency repairs, IPS has assisted in FRP field services for decades.

Please note – due to our current bandwidth, we generally do field services for past clients to check in on their existing FRP solutions we made for them, or we will perform field services locally, when we are able, to both IPS products and for non-proprietary FRP industrial solutions. Each fiberglass field technician is an IPS and/or ACMA Certified Laminator and Secondary Bonder with practical hands-on experience inspecting existing FRP equipment as well as retrofitting, modifying, repairing, or relining existing fiberglass reinforced plastic structures.

All repairs have been made in accordance with the applicable sections of industry standards such as ASME RTP-1, ASTM D-4097, ASTM D-3299, as well as ASTM D-3982. We operate under the applicable quality standard ASTM D-2563.

Our unparalleled understanding of Fiber Reinforced Plastics (FRP) has allowed our field crews the depth of knowledge needed for a wide range of on-site conditions. Our experience with hundreds of resins, laminating processes in extreme environments, and complex FRP vessel manufacturing technique has placed IPS at the top of many company’s lists to complete these critical projects.
