Dogs At Work

When it comes to workplace perks, dogs at work is certainly a big one to animal lovers. An especially charming factor is when office dogs are part of a manufacturing company, which can be very physically demanding and potentially emotionally taxing work to do.

We are happy to share that our very own Duke, AKA the Chief People Officer of Industrial Plastic Systems, was crowned the first ever Hill Shop Dog of the Month! The social media competition seeks to find the best boys, and best girls, who are very much part of the manufacturing organization they are office dogs for.

Duke is a 3 year old standard poodle, whose fur dad Michael Brown is the owner of Industrial Plastic Systems. Duke ensures that employees of the generational FRP manufacturing company are happy and is always there to listen. Even if he only understands the following – outside, treat, toy, and the phrase dog park. 

He also likes hanging out with Marketing Manager Amanda Rosenblatt, who bought him his favorite frisby toy that is kept at the office just for him, and Office Manager Kimberly Gmytruk, who is also a crucial part of this family business. His other coworkers are listed in the Staff section of our Mission Statement, who he checks in with regularly when he visits the office. Kimberly also brings in her own dogs from time to time, as the wonderful Fancy is pictured in the photos below with Duke.
